Chief Information Officer, ServiceMaster
Robert Doty was named senior vice president and chief information officer of ServiceMaster in 2018. As CIO, Doty is delivering ServiceMaster’s IT strategy, services and operations, and aggressively delivering innovative and transformational solutions to enhance the digital experience for customers, employees, franchise owners and contractors.
Doty joined ServiceMaster in 2014 as senior director of infrastructure and took on increasing responsibility for innovation and modernization across all aspects of IT systems, including infrastructure, application development, information security and e-business operations. He also served as vice president of IT for American Home Shield fulfilling a transformation that built critical revenue generating applications. As interim chief information officer for both ServiceMaster and American Home Shield, Doty was responsible for executing a successful spin strategy for IT, while continuing to drive digital transformation for ServiceMaster. He will continue to serve in this role until the spinoff of that business.
Prior to joining ServiceMaster, Doty was with Nissan North America where he oversaw infrastructure operations for contact centers and financial transaction applications, and established governance and implementation structures for large-scale systems implementations. He also spent time as a consultant for Oracle.
Doty holds a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from the University of North Texas, and has a master’s degree in business administration.
