Senior Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer
Pratip Dastidar joined ServiceMaster in December 2017 as senior vice president and chief transformation officer.
Dastidar brings a wealth of experience in quality management and driving operational excellence for large, global businesses in the industrial, technology and digital sectors. Most recently, he led process innovation that helped operational scale-up at Salesforce in support of a doubling of global revenue. Prior to that, he served as vice president of process transformation for HP, where he led optimization of critical end-to-end processes for its $55 billion print and personal systems business. Dastidar was also a director with Amazon, piloting last-mile delivery models that are part of the company’s Prime Now service.
Earlier in his career, Dastidar drove operational transformation as Vice President of Global Quality for Applied Materials, a semiconductor equipment maker, with a focus on customer experience and productivity improvement. Before this, he led enterprise-wide transformation at WABCO, a leading commercial vehicle supplier, during his six years on the leadership team as Vice President of Six Sigma Lean and Quality. Dastidar also developed and deployed the WABCO Operating System that delivered excellence in execution at a time of rapid globalization for the company.
Dastidar launched his career in the industrial sector starting with five years at United Technologies Carrier and four years with Honeywell Aerospace. He is a certified Lean Master and Six Sigma Master Blackbelt, and is a practitioner of design thinking and agile methodology.
Dastidar graduated with a doctorate in mechanical engineering from the University of Massachusetts and holds a bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology. He also has completed the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD Business School in France.
