American Home Shield and Terminix Raise More Than $5000 for Pink for the Cure
September 23, 2010
A special thank you goes out to the associates at the American Home Shield/Terminix Memphis service center! Both companies showed their true colors by overwhelmingly supporting Pink for the Cure fundraisers they diligently planned.
On Sept. 23, AHS and TMX kicked off their festivities with a first-time balloon launch and Chicago style hotdog sale, followed by their pink ribbon team competition, a bake sale and selling pins for their designated Pink for the Cure Jean Day, which is Thursday, Oct. 23.
Due to all of their focused efforts, they doubled their goal of $2,500 and raised a grand total of $5,116.33. The Susan G. Komen foundation will use these funds to raise awareness and fund breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment.
