West Summer |
Summer is often the peak of insect activity. Carpenter ants will be attracted to fruit trees, roses, and other sweet foods. Midsummer is also the time when yellow jacket colonies located on or near a house become large enough to represent a threat to the people living there. In addition, warm weather and outdoor activities with pets mean more fleas in your living areas, while pavement ant colonies are a threat to move indoors from their colonies located in the garage floors, sidewalks, and concrete foundations.
