Northwest Winter |
During winter months, shortages of food continue to drive rats and mice to see new sources of nourishment, and they frequently invade homes during this period. Carpet beetles are a threat to anything made of natural fibers a real potential disaster during sweater weather. Cluster flies and ladybugs are attracted by the warmth of buildings and will often hibernate there. This can become a problem on warmer winter days, when the insects "wake up" and begin to explore the interior of your home.
