Northwest Fall |
The coming of fall drives rodents like rats and mice to search for new sources of food as the seeds and grasses they usually feed on become more rare. In addition to the usual threats of infestation from such typical household pests as ants and rodents, many insects that typically remain outside such as box elder bugs and earwigs have discovered that heated buildings are the perfect place to escape the cold of winter.
Carpet beetles and clothes moths are also active during these months. They can cause irreparable damage to clothing, carpets, drapes, and any other item made of natural fiber.
