Appearance
A dark brown cockroach up to 1 1/2 inches in length.

Behavior
Usually attracted by trash or pet food stored on patios or decks. These pests usually infest attics and crawl spaces.

Habitat
Many areas of the home, including stacked firewood, debris, and piles of leaves.

Treatment
Commercial roach baits are effective in controlling this pest, though professional services may also be required.
