Hornet
Appearance
About one inch long, hornets are black with white markings.

Behavior
Hornets are social animals that live in large colonies. Unlike bees, the same wasp can sting repeatedly. Hornets are very aggressive.

Habitat
These insects build large, gray paper nests in trees, in shrubs, and on buildings.

Treatment
Because of their aggressive nature, a professional should treat wasp infestations.
