Appearance
Large, hairy bees up to an inch long.

Behavior
This bee will attack to defend its nest, and its stings are painful.

Habitat
Bumblebees live in cavities within the ground, but may also establish nests in walls, woodpiles, sheds, attics, or crawl spaces.

Treatment
A professional should treat bumblebees. Filling in cracks and holes around the home reduces the likelihood of bumblebees establishing a hive.
